PIONEER WASTE MASTER LIMITED is a wholly Nigeria owned company, duly registered by Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Company step to correct the improper and indiscriminate waste disposal in Nigeria through her newly invented pioneer waste unit for collection of waste and setting up waste recycling plants in all states across Nigeria.
PIONEER was established with the vision to turning waste to wealth by creating jobs and generating revenue.
The Company is set to partner with Government, IOC’S, Corporate organizations, individuals and private estates to solving the problem of improper and indiscriminate waste disposal.
PIONEER is working assiduously to rid Nigeria of littering garbage in our capital cities and rural areas through operation Zero Waste Initiative (ZEWIN), provide ten (10) million jobs and generate over two hundred billion naira (#200,000,000,000) annually.
The Company is currently set to start operations in five pilot cities: Lagos I & II, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kaduna using its Pioneer Waste Unit for waste collection and setting up five recycling plants for recycling of plastic, fiber, metal, glass, paper, organic matter, thermal composite waste etc.

AMB. EKPOYE NAKUS PROMISE – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Amb. Ekpoye Promise Nakus (The Ambassador of Waste management). He is the founder of Pioneer Waste Master Limited. The Company is pioneering a revolutionary waste management system through our newly invented pioneer waste unit that will solve the improper and indiscriminate waste disposal in Nigeria
A graduate of Political Science and Administration from University of Port Harcourt and a holder of Diploma in Environmental Waste Management and has participated in several courses and researches on waste management both in Europe, China and Africa, with special focus on urban and rural areas giving him a wider understanding on strategic perspective to handling waste, turning waste to wealth and using it to create employment and generate revenue for Government.
Amb. Ekpoye Promise Nakus is a man whose creative entrepreneurial skills caught across the oil and gas sector where he equally founded, superintend and manage the following conglomerate:
- Keno Energy Universal Limited, an oil and gas service company.
- P & C Engineering and Construction Company Limited.
- Promoor Global Catering Limited, providing offshore, onshore catering waste management services for companies operating in the oil and gas e.g Shell, Agip, Chevron, Seplat Petroleum, LNG, Heirs Holding Oil and Gas Limited etc.
- Golden Cape Hotels and Suites
Amb. Ekpoye in his quest to develop the people of Nigeria and the society, he founded PHD Catering and Hotel Management Academy, training young Nigerians with interest in hospitality business in order to enhance their capacity to compete favourably with their counterparts across the globe.
Elder Sunny Akpan, PhD, MBA, B.Sc. -Executive Director Finance/Administration
He holds a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance from University of Calabar, MBA degree in Management from University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt and MBA degree in accounting from University of Nigeria Nsukka and PHD (Banking & Finance) in the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
While as a Regional Chief Accountant, he attended a lot of course and seminars within the country and in France, UK, Tunisia and UAE while in the United Arab Emirates with Sedexo, he worked as the Zone Chief Accountant for Central Asia and North Africa countries of Algeria, Tanzania, Kazakstan, Yemen, Afghanistan and Libya and was in charge of training of all Chief Accountants and Finance Managers in the Zone and also the Zone Business Analyst.
Elder Sunny Akpan is a Chartered Financial Administrator, Certified Management Accountant, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration of Nigeria, the Chatered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, and the Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria, and the Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria.
He is energetic and enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with proven leadership abilities within team environment, coupled with more than 20 years cognate Accounting/Finance experience and excellent organization skills, vision, trust worthy and reliable with commitment to excellence.
He is highly numeric and computer literate, flexible, innovative and imaginative approach to solution management which has earned him the Second Chief Accountant in Sedexo Nigeria and Second Nigerian Employee to be posted outside Nigeria.
Barine Lenee, PhD, ACA – Deputy Director, Finance & Audit
A Financial Management Expert, Chartered Accountant & Auditor with over 15 years of experience in all aspects of accounting services. He has extensive expertise in financial statement preparation & reporting, management account preparation, accounting system set up, tax management, financial advisory services, auditing, risk management, cost reduction & control and Product re-engineering.
Prominently, he has work with UACN Plc (Restaurant Division), Menage Limited, Donor funded project (World Bank & AfDB), and external audit firms. He is a PhD holder, a member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, trained risk auditor of projects and contracts (IIR MIDDLE East/ Informa Group-UAE-Dubai), an alumnus of Ibadan Business School, International Management Training Consortium, RAMBOLL Environ (Stakeholder engagement and communication).
Stanley Okereke, M.Sc, PGD & B.Sc. Senior Environmental Manager
An Environmentalist with years of expertise in pollution technology, climate change economics and policy innovation as well as advanced waste management with over two decades of technical experience in and out of the field.
He has consulted widely for a number of organizations including NLNG, Dutch Embassy and Center for Integrated Development Foundation (CIDI) where he provided technical expertise in climate change and waste management projects. He worked for ‘Development Initiatives’ (DEVIN) as Executive Program Officer and in Living Earth Nigeria Foundation as a Senior Environmental Consultant before coming to the Management board of Pioneer Waste Master limited.
Kenechukwu Onyemaeme- MBA, B.Sc. Senior Business Development Manager
A Professional Business Developer with over 10 years’ experience. Specialist on development of business model and Planning Market Research Analyst. Expert in Feasibility Studies and Business Operations Strategist and worked in Throway Waste Management and Kaytech Solutions where he ensured advance business development, strategic planning, people management, operations management and has acquired high professionalism in problem solving and superior business skills in translating organizational objectives into visible managerial efficiency.
Idris Henry Umoru – B.Sc. Business Development Manager
He holds a B.Sc. (Ed) double honors degrees in Adult Education and Economics from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and have also attended several professional courses in Business Development and Human Resource Management.
He is a strategic Business Development Manager, Brand Strategist and Tech Professional with over a six years of experience in developing and scaling brands. He is an innovative business developer.
Before joining Pioneer Waste Master Limited, He has worked as a Business Development/Human Resource Manager, Operations and Market Research Analyst with Oxford Group International Limited, Deslog Energy Group, Sharpshooters Group, Citron Investments, Meryres Nigeria Limited.
He is top Brand Strategist in using 21st century modern technology to track and generate revenue in waste management.
Moses Ahiaba, PGD, B.Sc. – Media, Public Relations Manager
A Researcher, Journalist and Public Relations expert with over two decades of experience. He has researched on key issues of environmental matters and waste management in Nigeria with deeper understanding on ecological disaster mitigation strategies in upcoming economies; equally researched on waste recycling management and growth of small and medium scale industries for general business development in Nigeria.
Developed capacity on strategies to building eco-friendly environment in the 21st Century, Climate change, Waste to Wealth and building sustainable smart cities in line with sustainable development goal (SDG 11).
He is a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalist’s (NUJ) and other professional bodies and has worked with many media organizations; Rainbow Newspaper, Daily Trust Newspaper, Surveillance Newspaper, Independent Monitor Newspaper and Faces and Places Newspaper.
He has built a wider perspectives on waste to wealth experience and using waste management to creating employment for the masses.
